What I’ve imported
My first import was 50 iPhone chargers from a supplier on Alibaba. I sold them all on Vinted and Wallapop, but the shipping and VAT taught me that the product price is almost never the real cost. I have also imported carpentry products.
How I import
On my first order, the supplier arranged the shipping. Today I use a shipping agent I hired myself, as a private individual, to handle getting my goods from China to Portugal.
Why this blog
I’m not a guru, and this isn’t one of those blogs promising overnight success. It’s a place where I document what actually works, what doesn’t, and the strategies that I use.
